How To Create A Watercolor Mixing Chart Using Daniel Smith Buff Titanium

Color mixing charts are one of the best ways to explore color in a compact way. I’m starting this chart with 10 basic Daniel Smith watercolors mixed with Buff Titanium to see if they get creamy and gorgeous.

I like making color mixing charts that feature multiple mixes on one sheet of paper so I can quickly see a bunch of color options when I’m painting.

Color is fascinating to me. It flows with the seasons and daily moods. Some days I’m ready to paint all blues and greens, while other days I want to add in bright yellow and rusty oranges. Lately, I’ve been drawn towards purple colors, deep plums, and dusky lavenders.

Color is emotion. Use it to express yourself authentically and remember to be confident in who you were made to be.
