Limitations may seem, well limiting, but they actually expand your creativity. It seems counterintuitive, but I promise you it’s true. I think it’s because it eliminates the decision fatigue that we all deal with. In the last video, the limitation was black and white. Today, we’re going to add in one color. Limitations can truly help your creative process. It opens up your mind to possibilities because you have such a minimal amount of supplies to use. I love setting guidelines for myself when I need to create because if I can use every color I have and every mixed media tool I have, I quickly become overwhelmed and never start.
